In this story, the children never grew and the town became very suspicious that there was something wrong with them. Nobody believed they were normal since they had not been growing, and one day a woman finally had enough of the suspicions. She went out of her way to see a Wise Man who told her how to listen to the children speak and if they spoke beyond the understanding of children then she knew what to do. If she heard anything significant while listening then she could take action, but if she did not hear anything substantial, then she could do them no harm. The woman listened to the Wise Man and caught the children during their chanting ritual where they spoke of a dinner for harvest men (it sounded very creepy). The woman immediately knew something was not right with these children and she threw them into the lake where they were saved by goblins in blue trousers. The mother then got back her own children and everyone lived happily ever after. This story is very creepy in my opinion. I like the woman's personality a lot. Everyone thought something was wrong but she was the only one who took action to prove whether these children were stable or not. When she found out these children were not actually children, she tried to kill them immediately. I thought this was kind of funny; therefore, I wanted to write about the great personality of this woman!
